This work is inspired by multiple personality. It is not just about people with illness, but all the human beings who live in the society. It is only nature that people act differently when facing various people. In order make it realistic, this work is basing on my mother’s real life experiences. How she is a child of her parent, a mother of her child, a lover and an employee. The leaves, the dandelion and the warm colours in the first picture are for creating a sense of love when she is a child and when she is a mother. In the second piece, a blue sky is kissing a twilight, this remains the viewer of the love they have with their lovers, the feeling of wanting to spend all day together. In the third piece, as an employee she struggles to make more money, and the broken cage cover on the canvas pictures how she is constrained by her desire to be wealthy, but at the same time, money brings her freedom.

These pieces are displayed on one wall, so to remain the viewers these are a series. The viewers are also encouraged to look at them from a longer distance, in order to see the connection in use of colours and contrast between the images. This helps to understand the intention of the work.
